Community Representatives

Are you keen to participate with your Council? Advisory committees are established as part of the administrative structure of the Town of Mosman Park. The role of committees is to assist the Council in its decision making by providing advice about specific issues. Council currently has vacancies for Community Representatives on the Environmental and Social Sustainability Advisory Committee’s.
 
Environmental Sustainability (5 positions)
 
This committee will provide advice to Council on a diverse range of topics including emerging waste management and recycling technologies, sustainable development and management of parks and reserves, supporting Keep Australia Beautiful initiatives and development, management and protection of our coast, river and associated foreshore environs.
 
Social Sustainability (5 positions)
 
This committee will assist Council to achieve its goal of building a vibrant and connected community through advice on a diverse range of topics that significantly contribute to the social fabric of the Town. These areas include art and culture, public safety, security and disability access and inclusion programs.
 
Further Information
 
Applicants must be a resident of the Town of Mosman Park or be able to demonstrate an active interest in the committees’ goals whether it be personal and/or professional.
