Does your child require assistance to ensure a positive introduction to sport and recreation?
Sportslink is an inclusive program that teaches basic sports skills and confidence to children with disabilities from 7 to 12 years of age. Qualified coaches and student volunteers will work with participants to:
- Have fun
- Develop motor and sport skills
- Develop friendships
- Provide a positive opportunity to engage in physical activity
- Make a transition to community sporting groups
This RecNet program has resulted from a partnership between Presbyterian Ladies College, the Towns of Mosman Park and Claremont, the City of Nedlands and the Shire of Peppermint Grove; and is funded by the Department of Sport and Recreation.
The Sportslink program will be held at Presbyterian Ladies College, 14 McNeil Street, Peppermint Grove, on Monday afternoons between 4pm and 5pm, from 19 October 2009 to 23 November 2009. The six week course costs only $50.
