Volunteer Awards 2009

The Town of Mosman Park Volunteer Awards reward the vitally important achievements of both individuals and teams who make a positive contribution to the community - for the love of it!

If you believe someone you know fits into one of the outlined categories, give them the pat on the back they deserve and nominate them!

Nominations are now open for the 2009 Volunteer Awards. Click here for more information.

Community Visitors Scheme

The Community Visitors Scheme (CVS) is a national program that privides companionship to socially isolated people living in Australian Government-funded aged care homes.

Volunteering as a community visitor can be a rewarding experience. By befriending an older person living in an aged care home, volunteers have a chance to make a positive difference to the residents life, as well as their own.

If you would like to refer a resident to the CVS or would like more information about becoming a volunteer, please click here. You can also contact Desiree Hamann via email cvs@claremontbaptistchurch.com or call her on (08) 9385 2607.
