The Town of Mosman Park is committed to ensuring that the community is an accessible and inclusive community for people with disabilities, their families and carers.
The Town of Mosman Park interprets an accessible and inclusive community as one in which people with a disability can access and are welcomed to participate in all Local Government functions, facilities and services (both in-house and contracted) in the same manner and with the same rights and responsibilities as other members of the community.

Does your child require assistance to ensure a positive introduction to sport and recreation?
Are you a local community member with a disability? Perhaps you care for someone with a disability, or work in the disability services industry?
Council is currently seeking expressions of interest from people who would like to contribute to improving access and inclusion services in the Town of Mosman Park, by becoming a member of our Social Sustainability Advisory Committee.
The Committee meets to discuss a diverse range of topics that contribute to the social fabric of the Town and provide their advice to Council. Topics include: disability access and inclusion programs, art and cultural activities, and community safety projects.
If you would like further information about this Committee please contact Council’s Senior Community Development Officer, Laura Garside, on 9384 1633 or scdo@mosmanpark.wa.gov.au.
Businesses across the Town of Mosman Park can do their bit to assist local people with disabilities and their families.
There are many ways that the business community can welcome people with disabilities both as employees and as customers.
Businesses have the potential to benefit substantially by improving customer service and considering the needs of all of their consumers including people
with disabilities in their business planning and development.
