The Town of Mosman Park has many initiatives, awards and events to develop and encourage arts in our community.  Over the years many artists have benefited from the support and exposure the Council has offered through the events and awards below.

Mosman Park Art and Photographic Award

Every year the council has the Mosman Park Art and Photographic awards which showcases local artist and photographer's works.  Prizes and awards for various categories are on offer and you don't necessarily have to be a Mosman Park resident to enter.  Each year a different theme is chosen for entries and the winner's artwork is purchased (prize money is acquisitive) for display in the council administration building, providing an ongoing record of the Town's history.

Literature Prize

The award is designed to build upon our Towns' unique sense of place, capturing the essence of a subject, person or historical event that is part of the diverse fabric of community life as experienced in Cottesloe, Peppermint Grove and Mosman Park.

Entry forms and information regarding the 2009 Literature Prize can be obtained from the Town of Mosman Park Council Administration or by contacting the Peppermint Grove Library at library@thegrovelibrary.com
